Christian-Movie.com focuses on Christian movie reviews and recommendations as a way to inform visitors and exhort Christian filmmakers to seek excellence through their films. It is excellence, not mediocrity, that will reach those who normally don't spend time watching Christian movies.
At times, our site may include reviews or essays which critique notable secular movies which contain a message or a lesson for Christian filmmakers. Otherwise, Christian-Movie.com leaves the review and recommendation of secular movies to other film ministries already in existence.
What Are "Christian" Movies?
Are Christian movies labeled "Christian" because they are made by Christians? Do they have to preach the gospel message, or should they only promote Christian values implicitly?
On Christian-Movie.com, we define Christian movies simply as "movies made with Christ in mind."
Our desire is to support Christian filmmakers who aim to promote Christ through their films. With that said, we will almost exclusively review films created by Christians, with messages that either explicitly or implicitly promote and glorify the name of Jesus Christ.
