TV actress, author, speaker and pastor’s wife, Nancy Stafford is familiar to millions as Andy Griffith’s law partner, Michelle, on TV’s Matlock. An actress for over 25 years, she’s starred in several TV Movies and been a series regular on six television shows, including three years on the Emmy award-winning St. Elsewhere. She starred in the ABC series Sidekicks, and began her TV acting career as a regular in a dual role on the NBC daytime drama The Doctors.

She has been a guest star on numerous shows, with recent appearances on The Mentalist, Judging Amy and ER, starred in several TV movies, including Moment of Truth: A Child Too Many and Deadly Invasion, and co-starred with Randy Travis in the feature film The Wager. For ten years, Nancy hosted Main Floor, the syndicated fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine series, airing in over 40 countries around the world. She’s voiced a number of projects - from Mattel toys to PBS documentaries.
Her longstanding interest and love for the Middle East led her to visit Egypt, Lebanon and Cyprus, and host Partnering for the Impossible, about SAT-7 satellite television’s impact in the Arab world. She filmed the TV special Where Heaven and Earth Meet, and visited Israel, the Ukraine and Belarus as host of the TV specials On Wings of Eagles and Operation Isaiah 58.
Nancy Stafford hosted the live daily talk show Great Day America for PAX-TV, was a guest host of At Home Live for Family Net, and co-hosted the first season of the talk show Love, Marriage, and Stinking Thinking with Mark Gungor, which aired on TBN, Sky Angel and other Christian networks. She has been a frequent guest on 700 Club, 100 Huntley Street, Praise the Lord, Focus on the Family, New Life Live, Family Life Today and more.
Beginnings
A former Miss Florida in the Miss America Pageant, Nancy is a native of Ft. Lauderdale and a journalism graduate of the University of Florida. In New York, she became a top model with the Ford Model Agency and appeared in over 250 commercials before beginning her acting career.

Nancy is the author of two books published by Random House/Multnomah. Nancy also serves on Biola University Studio Task Force, The Dove Foundation Board of Reference and Advisory Board for Westside Pregnancy Resource Center.
For many years, she served on Advisory Boards for Hollywood Connect, a ministry that offers spiritual - as well as practical - resources and guidance for young industry professionals arriving in Hollywood; Inter-Mission, a group of over 4,000 Christian working professionals in Hollywood - producers, directors, actors, writers and technicians; The Actors' Co-Op, a Los Angeles theater company that consistently wins L.A. theater awards for its excellence; Act One: Writing for Hollywood, a comprehensive training and mentoring program to prepare the next generation of Christian screenwriters; and Hollywood Prayer Network, a ministry urging churches, para-church organizations and individuals to pray and intercede for all aspects of the entertainment industry.

Nancy's husband, Larry Myers, is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and has been a pastor and worship leader since 1975, when he helped establish the original Vineyard Christian Fellowship. He has helped establish three other churches in the Los Angeles area.
Nancy and Larry have been married for 20 years and have a unique personal ministry, providing a serene and private place for others to come for retreat: their ranch, Rancho Monte Nido (Mountain Nest Ranch). Rancho Monte Nido is just outside Los Angeles and is used by many for small group or staff gatherings, as well as for personal retreat - to work on creative writing and music projects, as well as to seek God and experience His healing and restoration.
Nancy Stafford has been blessed to play many roles in her life, but her favorite is wife to best friend, Larry, step-mom to beautiful Katie, Grandma to precious 8 year-old Blake, and "pushover" to two amazing German Shepherds, Shadow and Dusty.
